Olivia and Arthur spend their days away from home, listen to music and dream of somewhere far away. The day Olivia discovers a stray cat in the woods is the first step into a journey of loss of innocence.

When her grandmother dies, 19-year-old Anabel becomes closer to Meiko, a shy young neighbour. Little by little, this simple approximation reveals hidden feelings and improbable similarities. Returning to her grandmother's apartment, Anabel encounters a strange presence which helps her understand the moment she is living through.

Two young film students, Pedro and George, who spend more time watching films than studying, go to the video store to pick up some films for another weekend of student procrastination. There, the two rent a film that was mistakenly delivered by a member of a family of sadistic cinephiles. Unaware that they have an incriminating DVD, Pedro and George run the risk of participating in a bloodthirsty film where they will be hunted.

Vera, imprisoned at a military fortress during the dictatorship, 1969, get to know a soldier, Armando, who, in the face of torture, decides to take messages from Vera to his family and establishes an affective relationship with D. Maria, Vera’s mother. Despite the horrors of the time, the film works on this possibility of a dialogue between two lonely and lost human beings: a high-middle-class lady and a young southerner of rural origin. Today, Vera, aged 70, is a professor at the university, and debates with her students about politics, forgiveness and Hannah Arendt.
