The "Fiery Arc" tells of a grandiose battle on the Kursk Bulge in the summer of 1943. Here was the largest tank battle in the history of World War II. Along with the personal fate of the heroes, the film shows battle scenes, the activities of headquarters and intelligence, those who worked at the front and in the rear.

The career path of Sergei Omarov, a young engineer and graduate of a mining institute, does not start easily. But with the help of his worker friends, he not only becomes a skilled craftsman, but also rises to the position of head of Vzryvprom.

Fascist Italy's prime-minister Mussolini is arrested following the Allies landing in Sicily. Meanwhile, Soviet troops plan their offense towards Kyiv. Lt. Col. Lukin's regiment crosses the Dnieper river as the division's vanguard. Unbeknownst to them, they're merely a ploy to mislead the Germans so the rest of the army can catch them off guard.

The plot is based on the dramatic fate of the Red Army commander Aleksei Ivanovich Pavlov. Having been captured in January 1942 and being among the displaced persons, he didn't immediately decide to return to the USSR. Having rolled around the foreign country for 17 years, Aleksei nevertheless returned to his homeland. He goes to his brother in the south of the country to Sevastopol. Aleksei accidentally meets the doctor Anna Andreyevna, who was saved from death in besieged Leningrad. She travels by car from Moscow and also to the south, with her daughter Tanya; she suggests he join them. Aleksei tells about his life on the road.

All the years spent behind the school bench, they were devoted to the dream of flying. And now they are again students, but they are solving completely different problems. Three young daredevils conquer the sky, forgetting about earthly problems and disputes. But the everyday life of test pilots of supersonic fighters is unpredictable and dangerous. A routine training flight overnight can be a harsh test of courage for them. Today, future aces will face a difficult exam, for which life itself will put a mark.

The plot begins in the Soviet Union showing first efforts to establish the Czechoslovak legion in 1942. The film also shows the assassination of Heydrich and the subsequent annihilation of Lidice. The main topis of the film is battles with German troops for Sokolovo.

The wounded Russian soldier Fyodor, risking his life, was sheltered on a Latvian farm by his grandfather and granddaughter. Ilga fell in love with him, but the war separated them. Fedor went to the partisans, and Ilga is killed by the Nazis. Only many years later Fedor came again. Here he meets a young woman very similar to Ilga.

The invaders are leaving the northern town of the young Soviet republic. The driver Karpukhin came under investigation because of a tragic accident, as a result of which a person died. The young investigator, believing Karpukhin, undertook to defend the defendant, but at some point yielded to someone else's opinion, after which the accused had to prove his innocence himself...

Soviet engineer Viktor Loginov, who came to one of the East as a technical representative of the Minsk Automobile Plant, had to take part in an international rally due to the illness of a professional racer. Among the experienced aces from other countries, Victor was a beginner. Many representatives of foreign firms are interested in losing in the most difficult struggle. This would give an occasion to close the path to the world market for the new Soviet machine. But courage, mutual assistance and self-confidence help Victor overcome all stages of the most difficult path, where the danger came from both nature and people.

A satirical comedy about the events which happened in the toys factory a few days before celebrating it's 50 years aniversary.
