Laborers of the film industry have decided to march against the new censorship act in 1977. 60 years of silence in cinema was going to be interrupted for good. From actor/actresses to set workers, 400 women and men have started a 5-day-long walk to Ankara. A walk that was conceived with supportive but surprised looks of the public. The documentary tries to picture this forgotten but historical event in the light of the 100th year of cinema.

Turkey in the 1960s and 1970s was one of the biggest producers of film in the world. In order to keep up with the demand, screenwriters and directors were copying scripts and remaking movies from all over the world. This documentary visits the fastest working directors, the most practical cameramen and the most hardheaded actors to have a closer look into the country's tumultuous history of movie making.

Hilmi Tok is a billionaire businessman. He dies one day while driving his own car. His real estate assets goes his son Bayram.

This is the story of the politician named Zübük. He gets expelled from the political party that he is a member of, due to corruption. The journalist Yaşar wants to make a news story about his case and investigates Zübük's doings. Yaşar gets baffled at the sly tricks Zübük played on his village people. In the end, he feels sorry about Zübük's present situation, however, as things happen he becomes aware that Zübük has been tricking him.

Şaban, who works as a clerk in a factory, is madly in love with Bahar, who works as a secretary in the same factory and attends university thanks to the financial support of the famous oil tycoon Adnan Bıçakçı. However, Bahar has her eye on the famous athlete Erkan. After Adnan Bıçakçı reveals that Bahar is his granddaughter, she is kidnapped by gangsters. However, the only person who tries to rescue her is not her boyfriend Erkan, but Orta Direk Şaban.

This is one of the tragicomic films of Kemal Sunal who is most "serious-comic" artist of the Turkish cinema. This film also reflects socio-economic and cultural life of the 70's-80's Turkiye. The film obviously talk to Turkish audience but who wonder that era of Turkiye can taste of it. The film underlines of love, friendship and -richness in the poorness- and also is a story about the people who prefers love, instead of money and fortune. The theme and narration may include some populist elements -like most Kemal Sunal films- but generally tells its story as well. The story is familiar to Turkish audience: A young man loves young girl. In most Turkish love films one of the partners is rich or poor according to the other but in this movie both sides are poor and they have many difficulties to reach happy end. In my opinion, these kind of movies always gives hope to people to get over it.

Kemal is a successful journalist. He has a happy family with his wife Aynur and son Cengiz. Cengiz is known for his diligence at school. The film tells the story of two police officers' fight against a drug gang. Cemil is one of the successful commissioners of the public order department. All important operations bear the signatures of his assistant Faruk and Cemil. Although he loves his job, he is counting down the days until retirement. Burhan works as a driver at the factory where his father works. He is also preparing to marry Zehra, one of the factory workers. Zehra's brother Hüsnü and the factory accountant Namık hatch a plan to rob the factory. They decide to rob the factory's treasurer. They agree with two more workers from the factory to help them. During the robbery, something goes wrong. Hüsnü kills the treasurer and one of the workers and escapes. Nazif Usta, who was at the factory at the time, is arrested at the scene and sentenced to death in court. However, Burhan will try to find the culprits to save his father.

The plot of Death Curtain is incredibly interesting. According to the film, communists are about to blow up Istanbul with a secret bomb hidden in a curtain, but Murat Davman saves Turkey from this disaster. In the film, the leader of the communists is a woman named Leyla Sayar, while the leader of the Turkish police is another woman, Muallâ Kaynak. Murat Davman, meanwhile, is busy dealing with the bomb while also managing to keep up with both women thanks to his "little" flirtations.
