Patrick Bruce "Pat" Metheny, born August 12, 1954 in Lee's Summit, Missouri, is an American jazz guitarist and composer. He is one of the most successful jazz musicians. And since the mid 1970s so was he perfoming as The Pat Metheny Group whit the pianist Lyle Mays by his side untill 2006.
