Nowadays, people board large jets and travel across continents to their destination as a matter of course. This was not always the case. The documentary tells the story of Hans Pabst von Ohain and the Englishman Frank Whittle, who independently came up with the idea of using jet propulsion for airplanes in the 1930s.

Young men from a car repair shop in Loch Ness, northern Scotland, use a sea monster imitation to rescue castle residents from murder attacks. This allows them the "real" Nessie - Monster into the enclosure. A simple-minded mixture of crime thriller, slapstick and action for simple demands.

Angela and Robert have been married for ten years and make a perfect couple. They are madly in love with each other, give each other plenty of space and support each other in everyday life. This idyll is put to the test when Robert's girlfriend Claudia moves in with the couple and Angela falls in love with another man. Near the end of World War II, General Dietrich von Choltitz receives orders to burn down Paris if it becomes clear the Allies are going to invade, or if he's unable to maintain control of the city. After much contemplation, Choltitz ignores orders, enraging the Germans and giving hope to various resistance factions that the city will be liberated. Choltitz, alongside Swedish diplomat Raoul Nordling, helps a leader organise his forces.

She now accepts to become the wife of Etzel, king of the truly barbaric Hun nomads and invites the Burgund court nomenclature at their Danube court for their heir's baptism a few years later, but prepared a bloody conspiracy with her xenophobic brother-in-law behind her surprisingly chivalric husband's back, while Gunther accepts, hoping to avoid a far bloodier war, despite the danger for his party of knights, which materializes...

In 1957 Gustaf Gründgens staged a new production of Goethe's Faust in which he once again played Mephisto, a part he had played since 1932. The brilliant production was a huge success and ran for a couple of years. In 1959 Peter Gorski captured the performance on film in his directorial film debut. Basically it is a registration of the production, but Gorksi did manage to accentuate the details of the acting by using enough medium and close-up shots which give a view on the acting you normally would not able to see in a theater.
