Warren Ellis: Captured Ghosts is a feature-length documentary that takes an in depth look at the life, career and mind of the British comic book writer Warren Ellis. The film combines extensive interviews with Ellis with insights from his colleagues and friends, as well as ambient visual re-creations of his prose and comics work.

In a pandemic-stricken world, Stan and Cindy lead a group of strangers thrown together as they attempt to escape northward away from the inflicted known as the Crossed, those affected by a mysterious disease appear to have a cross on their foreheads, and follow their worst impulses.

Somewhere in the mountains of Afghanistan, three little figures stagger across the desolate landscape. Their Blackhawk burning in the rocks and the rest of the crew gone with it, the trio must survive both the terrible conditions and the hostile attentions of the locals. But there are worse foes than Taliban fighters in this ancient land, as an old and terrible force arises to serve a twenty-first century evil.
