An impoverished mentally disabled boy in Vietnam learns to deal with the loss of both of his parents.

A shy, young man and a mysterious girl spend a night together in the city of Saigon. Their mutual attraction develops, and in the morning, they must decide whether their connection is worth pursuing, or if they will go their separate ways. Based on Dostoevsky’s short story “White Nights.”

A poor rickshaw driver finds himself head over heels in love with Mai, a trendy and fashionable socialite. Knowing Mai’s love for Michael Jackson, the driver sets out to practice the moonwalk dance with his friend as to win over Mai’s heart.

In this dark love triangle that proceeds with the inexorable logic of a Greek tragedy, a dedicated wife in a small Vietnamese fishing village secretly turns to another man when her husband is unable to give her the child they both crave — but the surrogate father's crazed jealousy will have fateful consequences. (TIFF)

A family living in poverty faces financial difficulties while striving to educate their daughters. The mother resorts to extraordinary measures to procure the traditional silk dresses needed for her kids to attend school.

A Love triangle story full of passion and lust. The love story begins with the appearance of the quartet Minh Tu, Ha Viet Dung, Duc Hai and Vo Thanh Tam. The lightning of love clashes when Minh Tu (Diem Tinh) serendipitously attends a painting exhibition. This fateful meeting opens up a complicated love story when Diem Tinh and Ha Viet Dung (Hung) become a couple. This is when Duc Hai (as Son) has to regret seeing the person he loves hand in hand with someone else. There will always be happy people and sad people, but it is a mysterious why some people are addicted to the pursuit, like the tagline in the movie "Love is like a drug" or Diem Tinh's line "You and you, are like moths. We jump into the light and die.” The appearance of the handsome taxi boy Vo Thanh Tam is also one of the highlights of the film that takes the story to a new direction. Unanticipated tragedies happen when the characters in the film are ready to defy everything to get what they want and hide their secrets.
