When a train carrying atomic warheads mysteriously crashes in the former Soviet Union, a nuclear specialist discovers the accident is really part of a plot to cover up the theft of the weapons. Assigned to help her recover the missing bombs is a crack Special Forces Colonel.

During his stay he meets Ana, Stevan's daughter-in-law, whose trapped in a loveless marriage with his violent son Dušan, whose currently situated on the frontlines somewhere in Croatia. Finding company in each other's sorrow, the two Croats slowly begin to fall in love.

Origolab, an internationally renowned genetical engineering company, establishes a new headquarters within the walls of a small medieval town in Istria and Boris, an ambitous up and coming biologist, gets a position in it. However, he discovers a terrifying secret: whilst Origolab might be on the verge of a scientific breakthrough with discovering eternal life, they have been kidnapping local children to achieve this, putting him before a moral dilemma. Vigo lives a life he hates. He spends all day slaving away at a warehouse, having to put up with impossible demands from his higher ups and colleagues he hates. When the workday is finally over, he has to pay the bills, deal with increasing debts and provide a somewhat normal life for his younger sister and his girlfriend, the relationship with which grows more strained and opressive as time goes on. Things change when he meets Marija, a high society college student, with whom he starts a whirlwind romance with, gaining a whole new world of possibilities in the process. But, as time goes on, his facade begins to slip away and Vigo is forced to get into increasingly deeper criminal waters to sustain his image.

Three men decide to rob a wealthy manor, however, the situation gradually begins to turn against them.

US soldier gets involved in Cold War shenanigans in East Germany.

Nazi-occupied Croatia, 1941. A young university student named Matija Remenar moves from his small provincial town to Zagreb. During his stay, he notices a beautiful woman in the window across the street from his apartment, falling head over heals for her. He names this woman Nausicaa, after the eponymous character from Homer's Odyssey. Things complicate, however, when he becomes involved in an active suicide investigation of the three tennants who had rented the apartment prior to him. Not only that, but the apartment's original owner, middle-aged mrs. Šlajner, seemingly becomes infatuated with him, despite the huge age gap.

It is 1945 in Zagreb, and everyone is settling into the new regime following the disturbances of the war. Matilda is a wealthy widow of a war hero and has an apartment so spacious that she is required to take a boarder. Fortunately for her, the handsome young Lt. Horvat, the communist housing officer, has taken a fancy to her and has assigned his fiancee to be Matilda's new roommate. Where Matilda is soft and rounded, Lilijana is hard, skinny, and given to revolutionary pronouncements rather than tender endearments. The lieutenant loves them both, though he naturally finds Matilda more attractive. His situation is simplified when Lilijana, though pregnant, is transferred to another post. However, his commander is horrified that he has a lover in addition to his fiancee and demands that he choose whether to continue his career or continue his affair.

The story begins in a small rural village in Ladimirevci, Eastern Croatia in 1943, where a land owner Sima is helping the Partisan Movement and the official Ustasha regime in order to save the life of his son Beneš, who is enlisted in the German army. Sima doesn't want to let his son fight for the wrong side any more, and doesn't want to give him to the Partisans either, so he hides him in his attic for the time being. The story is interwoven with episodes of Sima trying to muster a beautiful stallion - Sokol - who only answers to his son Beneš and clearly doesn't like his old man.

Completely enchanted by Walt Disney and the heroes from his animation world, a nine-year-old boy awaits the visit of his uncle from the USA. Young boy's family is also anxious to finally see a man they haven't seen for so long. With the appearance of a gangster-movie hero, the boy's uncle is full of interesting stories adding even more flame to the child's imagination. Everything seems perfect and surreal as if almost they are completely sucked into a world of imagination, up until one horrific event reveals the real truth about uncle's life and deeds.[2]

Franka turned twenty and moves out from her parents’ home due to feuds with her domineering fa-ther. This film is the true story of the creation of Labin Republic in 1921. When Italy annexed Istria, Labin area that is very rich in coal became strategically important for the new government. Domestic Croatian and Slovene population were disappointed by the method of the Kingdom of Yugoslavia of selling foreigners. Accumulated social problems and the growing terror of Italians lead to great miners' strike, led by favorite union leader Ivan Pipan. The strikers will be join young miner Ive Blazina, who as commander of the Red Guard workers struggles for the mining republic and the love of beautiful Mary Brezac. The sudden intervention of the Italian army destroys their dreams, and resigned Pipan surrenders. But not everyone agrees with his behavior.

Fantasizing about free life and "cowboys & Indians" adventures in the canyon of the Cetina river, the boys go there without knowing that the three cruel Chetniks who had just escaped from prison hide there.

Newly divorced pathologist Fero returns to the Island of Rab, where he had spent most of his childhood alongside his father. Fero comes for the funeral of his friend's daughter, but soon, the chief of police, his friend Mungos, involves him in the murder investigation of a Romanian prostitute.

In a fictional Central European country democracy and freedom are only illusion, because behind polished surface there's many cases of murders and manipulations with the people. Police and city authorities are helpless when it comes to revealing the evil and culprits behind it. In the center of this story is the writer Ivan Gajski, whose friend died under sketchy circumstances. Gajski reveals that those who most advocate democracy are not only the same involved in these crimes, but they also did some of the murders as a part of TV production. Gajski meets all kinds of characters through this quest of his, including the woman of his wife Sara, and professor Bošković who discovers the origins of present Evil - the dark past of European continent.

The story of a lonely man without illusions and bitterness, who collects simple pieces of sense, humanity and love through his actions.
