After a herd of reindeer are mysteriously found dead following a meteor crash in a remote part of Lapland in northern Sweden, soldiers and a geologist are called out to investigate.

Manager Blom and his family stop at a mountain hotel. Once there, all family members are insolent and even cruel to both guests and staff. When the hotel manager tries to get rid of the family Manager Blom buys the hotel. But all of the staff resigns while a telegram to the family Blom tells them they are ruined! To raise money the family begins to work on and operate the hotel.

When her friends see her talk to the driver, they start to believe that she is Brenner's fiancée. The manager of the theater, Gravander, gives her the leading part in his latest show, in order to befriend Brenner.
