This is a thriller based on a theatre play by Horia Lovinescu - „Omul care şi-a pierdut omenia” (The Man Who Lost His Humanity) with elements of adventure, suspense and confrontations between good and evil.

Based on a 19th century tale, this self-referential fantasy, complete with musical and animated interludes plus a cast of fairytale characters, tells the story of a bet between an old man and a fairy over a bag with two gold coins.

The "Fiery Arc" tells of a grandiose battle on the Kursk Bulge in the summer of 1943. Here was the largest tank battle in the history of World War II. Along with the personal fate of the heroes, the film shows battle scenes, the activities of headquarters and intelligence, those who worked at the front and in the rear.

It would have been nice, however, if the story had not been told in such a heavy-handed, spell-it-all-out fashion.

After a series of spectacular events, Anghel succeeds in stealing Lady Ralu's precious dowry.

The Black Sea coast and the city of Constanta, in the height of the summer season, as well as the pearls of Romanian tourism, the resorts of Mangalia, Saturn, Venus, Jupiter, Neptune and Olimp, offer a more than generous setting for a comedy with songs and dances, with beautiful boys and girls, with important ladies and gentlemen, with adventurers, for one day or for several days, with tangled suitcases, functions and destinies, in a turbulent humoristic atmosphere.
