Bp Fallon has always lived at the heart of rock history. From his beginnings on Irish television, to his adventures in London's electric rock scene, Fallon was everywhere – working for the Beatles, whispering in the ears of legends like Led Zeppelin, T. From 1978 to 1982, Glenn O'Brien hosted a New York city public access cable TV show called TV Party. Co-hosted by Chris Stein, from Blondie, and directed by filmmaker Amos Poe, the hour long show took television where it had never gone before: to the edge of civility and "sub-realism" as Glenn would put it. Walter Steding and his TV Party "Orchestra" provided a musical accompaniment to the madness at hand, and many artists and musicians, from The Clash, Nile Rodgers, Jean-Michel Basquiat, David Bryne and Arto Lindsey were regular guests. It was the cocktail party that could be a political party. With 80 hours of disintegrating 3/4 inch videotape as a starting point, we tracked down the trend setting participants still living today and found out what they remember of the period and how the show influenced their lives. This, combined with clips from the orginal show, became the documentary "TV Party.

The Apollo Theater, Glasgow, Scotland - December 31, 1979. This concert video was originally broadcast live by the BBC on the OLD GREY WHISTLE TEST program. It was the 2nd night they'd played at The Apollo, with the first serving as a warmup. Only the second half of this show was broadcast, minus a few encores. Blondie's first video album was produced in conjunction with the record "Eat to the Beat", featuring a music video for each of the album's twelve songs. It was the first such project in rock music. Most of the songs were filmed in and around New York, the exception was the "Union City Blue" music video, which was filmed at Union Dry Dock, Weehawken, New Jersey. Each video was directed by David Mallet and produced by Paul Flattery. The video was initially available as a promotional VHS in 1979 and subsequently released on videocassette and videodisk in October 1980.

This 47-minute piece of video verité captures Blondie on the rise ripping through a good part of their debut album while also throwing in covers of The Yardbirds, The Runaways and Freddy Cannon, all performed in their natural habitat: New York's legendary CBGB.

As the most successful cross-over band ever, Blondie sold more than 15 million albums with a string of mega-hits. It is hard to understand why at the height of their worldwide success, Blondie abruptly called it quits. Before their break up, they performed one last spectacular concert and this is it!
