Danny Boushebel is an American actor, writer, producer, and director with a career spanning Hollywood film, prestige television, and international cinema. He is best known for his role as Blythe Sason on HBO's Vice Principals alongside Danny McBride and Walton Goggins, and for appearing in Season One of Netflix's Stranger Things. He recurred on NCIS: LA as Wasim Ghulam and has guest starred on FBI, House of Cards, Homeland, The Blacklist, Quantico, Madame Secretary, MacGyver, Elementary, Damages, Pan Am, and Drop Dead Diva. On the feature film side, Danny has worked with some of the most acclaimed directors in world cinema. He stars in Much Loved (2015) — directed by Oscar-nominated filmmaker Nabil Ayouch — which world premiered in the Director's Fortnight at Cannes 2015, screened at TIFF and BFI, and is now on Netflix. He appeared in She's Lost Control (2014), directed by Anja Marquardt and produced by Oren Moverman, which world premiered at the Berlin Film Festival. He also starred in Beneath the Surface (2014), which world premiered in the Court Métrage at Cannes 2014, and in Unfreedom (Netflix), Anna Nicole (Lifetime, dir. Mary Harron), Know Your Enemy (Amazon). On stage, Danny received a New York Times review for his lead performance in Baghdadi Bath (2009) at La MaMa ETC. He also starred in Alicia Keys' hit music video "Underdog" (2020) and a Toyota Super Bowl commercial (2018). Fluent in Arabic across all regional dialects, Danny brings a rare linguistic and cultural range to every role — an edge that has defined a career built on complex, multi-ethnic characters. In 2026, Danny founded Omnific Productions, LLC. Through Omnific Productions, Danny has developed a slate of 11+ original, fully owned IP spanning film and television — collectively earning 74+ awards and nominations across major screenplay and industry competitions.
