Félix Guattari

Disjunctive fabric or network that collides, by means of re-appropriated or stolen resources, liberated archives that disrupt structures of power and institutions. Psychiatry and universities explode in an accelerated disruptive essay of archiving and post-archiving that coins “anarchoautism” as a flow of liberated desire. Through its form and politics of liberation, autistic and schizophrenic becomings imply a violent line of flight within institutional spaces.

I give a methodical account of my film work: the creation of new series (Lire, Trio, Avec Mariola), the shooting of a new feature film (Amours décolorées which will take ten years to edit) with Mariola San Martin.

Amours décolorées is a cinematographic poem to the glory of Mariola San Martin, model, stylist, dancer and Spanish photographer.

Lire is a cinematographic series of filmed portraits that shows, in a single large fixed and sound sequence shot of 3 minutes 20 seconds, a writer reading the beginning of his last published book.

An intimate conversation between Félix Guattari and psychiatrist Danielle Sivadon.

From Gérard Courant’s Cinématon series.

"A partire dal Dolce brings together "portraits-interventions" of a dozen or so thinkers, artists, friends of Gianfranco Baruchello (including extremely rare footage of Jean-François Lyotard), who comment on the concept of the "dolce" (gentle/soft/sweet)" Claudine Eizykman, Les Rendez-vous du Cinéma Expérimental, February 2000

The clinic was founded by Jean Oury, a psychiatrist who previously worked in experimental therapy at Saint-Alban Psychiatric Hospital. The psychiatric practice borrowed the idea of Hermann Simon that it is necessary to look after the establishment and to look after each patient, while returning initiative and responsibility to them by developing situations in which they can work and express their creativity. Since the mid-50s Félix Guattari has worked at La Borde, developing its practice and organization and producing alongside Oury a body of theoretical work on the practice and theory of schizoanalysis, set in practice at La Borde, and included in his 1972 collaboration with the philosopher Gilles Deleuze, Anti-Œdipus. Among the many aspects of La Borde is the annual summer tradition in which the "boarders" and staff work together to perform a play.
