María, a young and attractive woman, loses her job, meets Luis, a young man with no stable job neither, his wife supports him. Luis wants to start a relationship with María, but she doesn't. She prefers to be with Luis' friends instead.

A group of thieves pretend to be men carrying an empty coffin and ask some rich people in the town to let them leave the dirty coffin there because it was raining and it could get wet.

José is an unemployed 18-year-old living in a cramped apartment in the slums of Madrid. Marginalized by poverty, José spends his time with his friend Antonio.
