The story of the film is set in the period from the 1940s until today in the Pannonian plain (the plain in the Central Europe), in an area of elusive boundaries, mysterious and unstable spiritual identity. The witness of the time is a Jewish boy Benya Cohn who, with his eye wide open, remembers the tragedy of his family, in the shadow of the Holocaust, concentration camps and new wars.

Marko, an aspiring filmmaker, is unable to pursue a career in horror films. He ventures into the porn industry, but his unorthodox style fails to impress producers. Frustrated, he assembles a crew of junkies, homosexuals and transvestites and starts a traveling live porn show. Soon a shady producer appears, he will pay them real money if they are willing to start making snuff films for him.

A documentary that takes an exclusive look at "A Serbian Film", with never-before-seen footage of the film and the worldwide reactions of one of the most talked about and controversial films of the last decade.

The day in life of a weird family. The unemployed father who has amnesia, mother who grows weed and son who sells it on the street in order to feed the family, the daughter who has succeeded as a porn-star, the elder son – an intellectual who translates Slovakian porn movies to a neighbor.

In the summer of 1991 the war broke out in Croatia. In a holiday house in Fruška Gora hills in Serbia, near the border with Croatia, a group of young people are having a birthday party. They try to have some fun and act like nothing is going on. The party is shattered by the war. They can hear the artillery, but something is also happening between them. Inevitably, some of the boys end up on the frontline and everyone of them is effected by the war that is starting to rage. "The Party" is about individual destinies of the characters trapped in isolated house in hills and surrounded by growing paranoia of the officially not yet declared war.
