A black BMW, a symbol of luxury, is racing along the night streets of Moscow in the 90s. Bad luck turns four friends into criminals and they have no way back. Only the black “bimmer” is reliable in this life without rules, taking the friends farther and farther from Moscow, into the crazy and ruthless wilderness of Russian roads… None of them wanted to kill. A perfect bank heist turns deadly when the robbers and their hostages flee to the abandoned underground subway station where they encounter the Trackman, a deformed madman that prowls the darkness.

The main character of the film, Mikhail Perov, is a professional diver. In his past, he failed to become a businessman, and in the present, he has large debts because he is a gambler. One day, he receives a strange telegram asking him to come and help his old friend, Garik Sedykh. Without hesitation, Perov sets off on a journey. His younger brother, Alexander, accompanies him. Upon arriving in a small coastal town, Mikhail learns that his friend has been murdered. Before his death, Garik, who worked as a bodyguard for the thief-in-law Pereverzev, hid a case with the thief's cash in a complex underwater labyrinth. He encrypted the coordinates of the location with a code known only to Mikhail. Now, the main character must find the case and save his own life and that of his brother.

The heroine's son is admitted to the hospital in critical condition. A mother in distraught, pleads to the doctors to save her child, but is met with harsh reality of medical incompetence.

A quiet provincial town, where cops and bandits coexist peacefully, is shocked by the unexpected incident. On the highway, an unknown Mercedes was shot by an unknown gangster named Old Man. The old man carried with him a whole suitcase of money. Money has disappeared. Everyone suspects everyone, but the main suspicion falls on a woman doctor named Marina, who nobly picked up the wounded Old Man on the road.

Two Moscow investigators, investigating the corruption case, become a serious obstacle for the southern mafia. Trying to interfere with the investigators, the criminals go to any lengths - from the murder of dangerous witnesses to the intervention in the investigation of Leonid Brezhnev.
