Zsombor Dyga

Some wounds never heal. In a rundown Central European town, the everyday lives of three working people are violently disrupted: a boy goes missing, a woman is stalked, and a man comes face to face with the killer of his child.

On a single night in downtown Budapest, shy Zoli strikes up a conversation with attractive Eszti after her date fails. Despite his awkward persistence - and the odd promise to show her his webbed toes - Eszti brings him home, where her brother Gábor, Zoli’s old friend whose late wife Zoli once cheated on him, storms in. As old betrayals come to light, the evening’s playful tension turns suddenly serious.

Based on the true story of Operation Shaman Shield, when Hungarian soldiers evacuated 540 people, including 180 children, from Afghanistan as NATO forces withdrew. Coming Fall 2025.

There is the housing estate. There's Artin, a music geek with the mentality of a teenager at twenty-three, and his brother Nate, a sex-crazed porn writer on the run from hole to hole. And then there are a few other possessions: a second-hand large apartment, an inherited small apartment, and a second-hand inherited woman. But which one goes to whom?

A fictional account of the 1958 attack against the Hungarian embassy in Bern. Based on a true story about the aftermath of the 1956 Hungarian revolution.
