The relationship between Eric and Stephanie is floundering. They decide to leave for the Republic of Santiago to visit the famous ruins. Once there, they learn that a serial killer rages on steep roads of the region, eliminating drunk drivers.

The door of Joe's bar swing open just as the clock strike six. A woman, a regular patron, floats in with an unlit cigarette between her red lips. She sits down on a high stool while Joe is busy wiping glasses. After a while he greats her as Reina, Queen.

On December 31, 1958, a detective investigates the theft of a painting from the home of a wealthy widow in Havana. The relationship between the two, amid investigations and danzones, reveals the history of the house and the family. The arrival of the bearded men in Havana changes the course of events.
