Winder is an antiwar drama, the kind, tragicomic way, the story of the famous, seemingly old-fashioned, but often love among family and friends, who in this adaptation is set out as a national form. The film tells about two well-men, Misula (Boro Stjepanovic) and Puja (Ljubomir Bandovic), contradictory attitudes and opinions which, in everyday disputes, revealed apparent mutual hostility and indifference, but also a joy to be doomed to a life together. Misula in this respect the embodiment of the old sages, and the apprentice's Pujo naive hasty hedonist. While glossed over planes and bomb Serbia, these two ordinary man, coincidentally ignorant of the events, marathon busy digging wells to a sardonic but humorous way, dissolve pitful weight and personal lives. Besides well-men unaware of the historical moment and one Valjevo village lives almost bizarre, peacetime everyday, until the sound of explosions killer time approaching.

A young fan of Red Star Belgrade FC is disappointed with team's performances in the last 20 years, ever since his beloved club won the European Champions Cup. He comes up with idea to bring the former Red Star player Nemanja Vidic from Manchester United F.C., by collecting money for this hardly feasible task.

It is not clear if writer's girlfriend and her father are part of writer's fiction, memories or reality.

In February of 1918, in Boka Kotorska, the greatest uprising of Austrian sailors broke out. Forty warships, with 6.000 sailors, rebelled against the Austrian Monarchy. The uprising was bloodily crushed after two days, and it's leaders shot.

A group of children build a loft in an abandoned yard, but instead of pigeons, a man and his two sons move into it. At first, boys try to get rid of the unwanted intruders, but eventually they befriend with them. However, the municipality sends their men to tear down the illegal housing, but the children decide to stop them at all costs.

A disabled man takes on the system when his pension is tied up in a morass of red tape. His story is revealed on a television program, and the star of the show is admonished for trying to incite the public against the system. The media, the man and the television manager gather to try to talk out the misunderstandings they all experience with the system of slow-moving social injustices. The message of the film also states that the days of media scrutiny and public-opinion feedback are here to stay.

Once a man of great influence and means, Ivanov has fallen into debt and out of love with his wife. Spending his evenings away from home, among the idle and morally corrupt, Ivanov finds himself drawn to Sasha, the daughter of a wealthy friend, who appears determined to save him.
