A woman and a man try to come closer together, but is that still possible when everybody around them is behaving strangely and becoming one with their surroundings?

The war between the Iga and Sanada ninja clans is heating up, and a prominent gunsmith is on both clan's radar. Shinsuke Kakei, the gunsmith, is essentially a pacifist, but believes his weapons can bring peace to the land if put in the hands of the right group. Kasumi is sent to convince Kakei to come and work for them, and keep the guns out of the hands of the Iga. Of course Hattori, along with his sister Sayuri, have other plans for Kakei and his wife.

Gin is a 15-year-old boy. He knows that his father is a gay and he wonders if he might be the same. Narumi is a 15-year-old girl. Her mother tells her she should prostitute herself. Narumi decides to go to her father in Tokyo. Gin tells Narumi that he is going as well. The two 15-year-olds set out on a trip to Tokyo.

Having failed with his business and gone absolutely penniless, Masao (45) divorced with his wife, and is currently leading a hopeless life in Ibaraki. One day, a mysterious high school girl, going by the name Emiko, showed up before Masao. Every now and then, Masao would be toyed around by Emiko, but little by little he started taking a liking to her loveliness. As days went by, Masao started opening up to Emiko – something that he rarely did to others. However, there was just something about Emiko – something that bothered Masao - that wouldn’t go away.

A young couple's lives take a turn for the worse after a mysterious attack on the husband leaves him suffering from some bizarre after effects.

Movie consists of 5 different segments based on stories in the novel "Ima, Yari ni Yukimasu: RE-DUX Kyofu Jitsuwashū" by Yumeaki Hirayama (published 2010 by Kobunsha).

Riko, who will begin university in Tokyo in spring, journeys there from Hiroshima in February with her father to find a place for her to live. On their travels, they meet various colorful characters. The father remembers his late wife, and raising his daughter alone. Their fun time together is tinged with the knowledge that it is about to end. Rakugo performer Kyotaro Yanagiya appears in his first leading film role, and rising star Anna Ishii plays the sensitive Riko. The eccentric supporting cast includes Romi Park, Akihiro Kakuta, Keiko Yanagawa, Kei Ishibashi, LaSalle Ishii, and Momiji Yamamura.

Kimi lives with her boyfriend in a cold northern Japanese village on the Aomori coastline near the nuclear power station where he works. One day he becomes radioactively contaminated and leaves but the girl stays behind with her father.
