When the Germans invade Poland during World War II, a family of Jews seeks refuge in a well. Based on real events, the three survivors moved to Buenos Aires in 1952.

Film based on the life of Dr. Salvador Mazza, who, with a group of professionals, conducts an investigation to discover the antidote to a mysterious illness whose carrier is a nocturnal insect. A Mazza was regarded as the first doctor who fought the deadly Chagas disease in Argentina.

A couple of friends work for a taxi driver to rob his passengers, but they feel like they're getting ripped off. They decide to plan their own robberies, but they are amateurs and things don't go too well. One of the youths, Cordoba, whose girlfriend Sandra is pregnant, just wants to get enough cash so they can leave Argentina and get to Uruguay to start a new life. He and his friends plan one last robbery, but things don't go as planned.

The film brings together the winners of the first edition of the Argentine National Film Board's (INCAA) annual public script competition, the grand prize of which is the budget to produce a short film. Eventually screened in national theaters, the omnibus film gave rise and recognition to a new generation of Argentine filmmakers known collectively as the New Argentine Cinema—a wave of contemporary filmmaking that began in the mid-1990s in reaction to decades of political and economic crises in the country.
