On the other hand, his powerful host, Avala Film director and former Yugoslav secret service operative Ratko Dražević, is dreaming big dreams - he is trying to establish a 'Hollywood behind the Iron Curtain' of sorts.

The naive 18 year old Dobrila leaves her little Serbian village to travel to Hamburg, Germany, where her boyfriend lives. The trip is not easy. Finally in Hamburg she has to realize her boyfriend is not very interested in a relationship. This is a story about a young second lieutenant Janković who, after graduating from the Military Academy, comes to the unit for his first officer's duty. The film follows the period of his adjustment, getting to know the collective, establishing the first meetings with soldiers and elders, the city and the environment in which he lives. Crises and dilemmas were quickly overcome. The collective accepted the young officer thanks to his knowledge, skill and ability to establish real human relations. This is actually the first and introductory story from the series about the life of an officer.
