EliteXC: Destiny was the inaugural mixed martial arts event by the mixed martial arts organization EliteXC. The event took place on Saturday, February 10, 2007 at the DeSoto Civic Center in Southaven, Mississippi. The main card aired on Showtime, with the undercard was streamed live on the Proelite.com website.

WEC 18: Unfinished Business was a mixed martial arts event promoted by World Extreme Cagefighting on January 13, 2006 at the Tachi Palace Hotel & Casino in Lemoore, California.

UFC 142: Aldo vs. Mendes was a mixed martial arts event held by the Ultimate Fighting Championship on January 14, 2012 at the HSBC Arena in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

WEC 17: Halloween Fury 4 was a mixed martial arts event promoted by World Extreme Cagefighting on October 14, 2005 at the Tachi Palace Hotel & Casino in Lemoore, California. A light heavyweight tournament was held with the winner being crowned the champion and given a deal with the UFC.

UFC 120: Bisping vs. Akiyama was a mixed martial arts event held by the Ultimate Fighting Championship on October 16, 2010 at the O2 Arena in London, England.

UFC 115: Liddell vs. Franklin was a mixed martial arts event held by the Ultimate Fighting Championship on June 12, 2010 at General Motors Place in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

UFC 207: Nunes vs. Rousey was a mixed martial arts event produced by the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) held on December 30, 2016 at the T-Mobile Arena in Paradise, Nevada, part of the Las Vegas metropolitan area. The event was headlined by a UFC Women's Bantamweight Championship bout between current champion Amanda Nunes and former champion Ronda Rousey. A UFC Bantamweight Championship bout between then champion Dominick Cruz and Cody Garbrandt co-headlined the event.

UFC 98: Evans vs. Machida was a mixed martial arts event held by the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) on May 23, 2009 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Quinton Jackson, former UFC Light Heavyweight champion, was to fight the undefeated current champion Rashad Evans but had to undergo arthroscopic surgery to repair ligament damage in his jaw that he received in a previous training camp. Instead, Evans headlined the card against fellow undefeated contender Lyoto Machida.

EliteXC: Renegade was a mixed martial arts event promoted by EliteXC that took place on Saturday, November 10, 2007 at the American Bank Center in Corpus Christi, Texas. The main card aired live on Showtime.The main event featured a showdown between Nick Diaz and KJ Noons for the new EliteXC 160-pound Lightweight title. The card also featured the EliteXC debut of Internet brawler Kevin "Kimbo Slice" Ferguson, as well as welterweight stand-out Jake Shields.

UFC 108: Evans vs. Silva was a mixed martial arts event being held by the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) on January 2, 2010 in Las Vegas, Nevada at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.

UFC on FX 3: Johnson vs. McCall 2 was a mixed martial arts event held by the Ultimate Fighting Championship on June 8, 2012, at the BankAtlantic Center in Sunrise, Florida. Because of a scoring error at UFC on FX: Alves vs. Kampmann, a majority draw between Demetrious Johnson and Ian McCall was mistakenly announced as a victory for Johnson. Dana White announced the error following the conclusion of the event and that Johnson and McCall would have a rematch.

UFC 133: Evans vs. Ortiz was a mixed martial arts event held by the Ultimate Fighting Championship on August 6, 2011 at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Strikeforce: Shamrock vs. Baroni was a mixed martial arts event co-promoted by Strikeforce and EliteXC. The event took place on Friday, June 22, 2007 at the HP Pavilion in San Jose, California. The main card aired on pay-per-view, with the undercard streamed live on ProElite.com. The PPV event was rebroadcast on the Showtime premium cable channel on June 30, 2007.

UFC 187: Johnson vs. Cormier was a mixed martial arts event held on May 23, 2015, at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Affliction: Banned was a mixed martial arts event co-promoted by Affliction Clothing and Adrenaline MMA.[2] It took place on July 19, 2008 at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California. The card featured many of the top MMA heavyweight fighters. The main event was the return of PRIDE World Heavyweight Championship Fedor Emelianenko fighting against former two-time UFC Heavyweight Champion Tim Sylvia. The event also saw fights between former UFC Heavyweight Champions Andrei Arlovski and Ben Rothwell, Josh Barnett took on Pedro Rizzo, and former UFC Light-heavyweight Champion Vitor Belfort fought Terry Martin. Former UFC standout Matt Lindland and former Pride FC standout Antônio Rogério Nogueira also competed.

UFC Fight Night 90: Dos Anjos vs. Alvarez was a mixed martial arts event held on July 7, 2016 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. The event was headlined by a UFC Lightweight Championship bout between then-champion Rafael dos Anjos and former two-time Bellator Lightweight Champion Eddie Alvarez.

The Ultimate Fighter 16 Finale was a mixed martial arts event held by the Ultimate Fighting Championship on December 15, 2012 at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. Shane Carwin was expected to face Roy Nelson in the event's headliner. However, Carwin suffered a knee injury and was replaced by Matt Mitrione.

UFC Fight Night 19: Diaz vs. Guillard was a mixed martial arts event held by the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) on September 16, 2009 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

UFC Fight Night 49: Henderson vs. Dos Anjos was a mixed martial arts event held on August 23, 2014, at the BOK Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The event was headlined by Lightweight contenders Benson Henderson and Rafael dos Anjos.

UFC 170: Rousey vs. McMann was a mixed martial arts event held on February 22, 2014, at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas. A bout between women's bantamweight champion and former Olympian Ronda Rousey and former Olympian Sara McMann headlined the event.
