I thought it was nicely made especially the beginning and had a clever emphasis on sound. It wasn't the best written film ever but it did the job as a good, stupid horror film. It was excruciatingly annoying in parts but I think that was the point. It won't win any awards for acting or screenplay but it was fun and stands up against most modern, boring horrors. It reminded me of 'Don't Breathe' which was a r…

**Inside and outside, a cat-mouse game!** A limited cast film. One night event. The whole film was shot within the three weeks. Minimised dialogues, maximised actions. If you are looking for nothing but an entertainment, then this will provide you tha…

Originally released on Netflix in 2016, Hush is a solid enough suspense-thriller that is perfectly paced and clocking in at only 82-minutes is great for a quick Friday night watch. Kind of old school in that it's just a psychopath and serial killer just unleashing bloody horror on his victims. **3.75/5** As I don't have Netflix this one flew under my radar but thanks to Shout Factory it's finally getting a physica…

71/100 A novelist, who's deaf and dumb and lives in an isolated forest home, is inexplicably stalked by a psycho. Once again, Mike Flanagan (along with his wife, co-writer and main actress, Kate Siegel) manages to turn a simple story into an intense and brutal game of cat and mouse that never gets stale over its 81 min screen time. At first, overwhelmed by her situation, she inevitably accepts her fate to kill or …
