Among them are Joy, a trans teen expelled from home; Elliot, rejected for not meeting traditional gender expectations; Eleonora, trapped in an abusive marriage; Teresa, an elderly former film star abandoned by her family; Adrienne, an American nomad seeking independence and motherhood; Ulises, a Venezuelan migrant pursuing opportunity and artistic fulfillment; Caleb, a pansexual Colombian using sex work to achieve his goals; Aarón, a young believer struggling with a secular world; and La Veneree, an asexual drag performer. Through their interconnected stories, Liminal explores rejection, identity, resilience, and belonging, ultimately offering a message of hope, freedom, and solidarity.
