This is not what I expected it to be and I'm very happy that I got to watch it. It mixes elements of musical theatre with some very dark relationship themes and the movie pulls it off somehow. It's sometimes goofy and sometimes serious, but it's always engaging and while it may not be for everyone I still found this to be very rewarding. I would recommend it.
