In order to track down the Russian mafia, Joachim Tresko goes undercover in the Berlin art scene. Meanwhile, his wife Katrin seems to have disappeared from the face of the earth. She had been researching the trafficking milieu for her newspaper. Tresko is thus involved in two seemingly different cases.

Journalist Katrin Tresko is on the trail of a criminal gang that is laundering money on a grand scale. But then she is murdered by their masterminds. Her husband, former BND agent Joachim Tresko, swears revenge. He sets out on his own to track down the criminals.
