Minuscule
The French animated series Minuscule tells the adventures of the insect world through a unique blend of live-action footage and CGI, with no dialogue — just brilliant visual storytelling. In the first film, a ladybug with a broken wing stumbles into the territory of black ants and forms a deep friendship with them, joining forces to fight off an army of red ants in what becomes an insect-sized "Trojan War." In the second film, Minuscule 2: Far from Home, a father-and-son ladybug duo are accidentally shipped from France to a Caribbean island, prompting the black ant and a little spider to form a dream team and embark on an ocean-crossing rescue mission full of warmth and adventure.
7.0In a peaceful little clearing, the remains of a hastily abandoned picnic sparks a battle between two tribes of ants. A bold young ladybug finds himself caught in the middle. He befriends the leader of the black ants, Mandible, and helps him save the anthill from the assault of the terrible red ant warriors, led by the fearful Butor. A fantastic journey at ground level.
