In 1960, village inventor Chanan Singh tries to impress his in-laws by upgrading from his bicycle to a motorbike to win the affections of his wife Pakko, after a rival arrives with a new bike.

Chanan Singh returns to his village after being dismissed from the royal palace, leading to a conflict with the crown over dignity and revolution.
